An Ad-Lib Mini

Hi Everyone..I'm back with another project for Let's Capture Our Memories using Bo Bunny's Ad Lib line. I decided to to a mini album to document an award my daughter received for Youth Art Month. She designed a flag that was chosen to represent the State of Massachusetts at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. It was really exciting, we took a trip down to D.C. for the festivities and got to meet with Congressman McGovern and Senator Brown from Massachusetts!
I scanned her design and used it for the cover art of a Prima Canvas album which I painted and added the ribbon trim.

There were so many brochures, invitations and letters of congratulations that I decided to make envelopes and put them into the clear inserts that came with the album.

It really was a fun album to put together! Stop by LCOM to check out all of the Bo Bunny Ad-Lib goodies!

Ad Lib at LCOM

Hi... just wanted to share a layout I did for the Let's Capture Our Memories Marketing Team this month. I was very excited to get to work with Bo Bunny's Ad Lib. The colors in this line are fantastic!! It's definitely one of my all time favorites!! I had a lot of fun with this layout... last year we took our daughter to her first concert... Taylor Swift. She had such a great experience. I chose to make the journalling a major part of my layout because the story was so fun! I also wanted to include the ticket stubs as well. Since there was a lot going on with the journalling, I kept the rest simple with a cute little border using MFT's Banner Die-namic and some of the fun rub-ons from the Ad-lib line.
That's all for now... stop by LCOM to check out the entire Bo Bunny Ad Lib line!

Signs of Spring

Hi Everyone... just wanted to share a layout I did for the monthly sketch at Right at Home Scrapbooking. Every month our DT Coordinator Frances Sylvia puts together a great sketch. Here's a look at the sketch and my take on it for the reveal:

Frances' Sketch

A Sign of Spring

I had a lot of fun with this Layout. I got to play with Echo Park's new Springtime Line. The colors just scream spring! For the background, I wove strips of the green to create a basket look. The letters are corrugated alphas from Jillibean, which I inked and added some stitching. The flowers were created by twisting some ribbon around and securing to a piece of chipboard.

Finally the butterflies were created using MFT's Butterfly Die namics and some Art-C wire for the antennae.

It was a fun sketch to play with! It was also so nice to see the sunshine! Hopefully it will stick around... I'm so done with the snow.
